Wow, Have we been on a hot dog tear lately. But now it's time to get back to our best pizza in San Diego quest. So I have decided to publish the remaining Pizza restaurants that we have chosen to review on our quest for the best pie. I would definitely add Pizzicato in Encinitas. For me the best pizza in SD. Z Pizza is also worth a visit. And for a thhick crust (which I normally don't like so much) you should try Today's pizza & pasta in Leucedia.
Excelllent! Thank you for the recomendations. This is what we are looking for. We want to get to those little known places out there and try to shake up the list a bit. Kep em coming. This quest is gonna be a long one. But we are up to it. Unless we have a cardiac.

I'd go with Frankie's Italian Deli on Mira Mesa Blvd. (southwest corner of Mira Mesa Blvd, and Black Mountain Rd). It's a local/not chain restaurant, and the pizza is pretty good.
Hi Jim and thanks for the info. we really want to give the old school top ten guys a run for the money. we love to try new places. This quest is gonna take awhile.
But it's been fun so far. New places and new faces.
