We have had a few questions and comments from the local pizza aficionados telling us that our quest for the best pizza needs more parameters to it. Well I talked it over with the crew here at foodopolis and they agree with our original rules of pizza engagement.
We want to keep it simple and really don't want to get into all of the West Coast vs East Coast pizza thing. That gets too crazy like there seems to exist pizza gangs that just belittle every ones version because it doesn't fall into any of the West Coast, East Coast catch phrases. Let me give them all my best in Southern Californian. " What Ever".
So. We are trying to find the best all around pizza, whether it's an East Coast version or West Coast it doesn't matter as long as it is a great pizza, good value and that is it.
We want to go out and try different places that might have been overlooked in past top lists.
and of course trying and rating the places around town that have consistently been ranked by more professionals than we at the humble foodopolis.
And tonight we are going to try another local eatery. One that I know of and have been to many times in my life. How will it stack up? Stay tuned.
To summarize what we are on the quest for. Just the taste ma'am, just the taste.
